All flights will last one-hour. Very rarely the length of the flight will be slightly less than one-hour but it is for the safety of the flight. We do everything we can to plan a flight for an hour. Sometimes mother nature just has other plans for us.

The average flight is between 5-10 miles. Length does vary depending upon wind conditions.

You need to come dressed for the weather on the day of your flight. The weather up in a balloon is very similar to the weather on the surface, but remember you will be outside for a few hours.

We fly over the Tennessee River Valley north of Chattanooga. We do not fly over the city due to airspace restrictions and difficulty in landing locations in congested areas. Plus it is much prettier out there.

We recommend that passengers be at least 5 years of age. The number 1 consideration is being able to actually see and remember the experience. Just because they are 5 does not mean they are ready for a flight, though. We ask you to consider the personality of your child. They will be standing in one place for one hour. With that said I have taken 3 year olds that loved it and were great. Then, on the contrary I have taken 9 year olds that were bored and fidgety the entire time.

There is not a weight limit however we do require a fuel surcharge of $1 per pound over 200 pounds. However, we do not assess a fuel surcharge on our High Altitude Flight or our Night Flight/Dawn Patrol.

If the flight is cancelled due to bad weather we will re-schedule your flight INDEFINITELY.

You can reschedule your reservation until 96 hours before the flight. Due to the limited capacity of the balloon if you reschedule with in 96 you will forfeit your deposit and be responsible for the remainder of the balance.
